Building cool games, designing characters, generating music and draw math art - unlock the power of computer coding, while enhancing analytical and logical thinking of your child at a very young age. We use visual coding tools like Scratch and Tynker. From our past experience, this class is most loved amongst students since it gives them the freedom to explore their creativity and have fun at the same time. It teaches them the basics of coding and game development that keep them thinking about how their favorite iPad games were coded -the best alternative to just playing on the iPad.
The objective of this course is to make app development as inclusive and straightforward as possible so kids can bring their ideas to life. Students with a non-technical background are empowered to create apps and games with ease using Visual Programming interface. Students will use online tools like MIT App Inventor to develop and test apps. We encourage students to bring their ideas to life and upload their apps to the Google App Store with paid accounts by the end of the course.
* Students will have to get their own laptops for developing and preferably an android device (phone/tablet) to test their apps.
Afternoon Camp - 850 AED/week
1 pm - 3 pm
Minecraft is the most popular game known to all ages and it allows for everyone to flex their creative muscles by putting together Minecraft blocks, creatures and objects to build fascinating virtual cities, villages and possibly the whole world. This camp will focus on bringing together like minded Minecrafters to world building challenges. Make that screen time count.
*Students should have their own Minecraft PC version (paid version). Else, there will be an additional cost of AED100.
The popularity and awareness of 3D Printing is exploding. It is breaking down barriers in design and manufacturing, and making what was previously impossible, possible for anyone with just a basic understanding of the technology.
This camp aims at igniting the ‘maker’ spirit in students through a hands-on learning of 3D design and printing. Students get an understanding of technologies, processes and materials that make 3D printing possible. Participants will use 3D software design tools and experiment by designing their own models or modifying exisiting models. Every student gets to print their own design
